With the holidays coming up out wallets are going to suffer once again. My wallet hates Christmas but sometimes it’s time to ignore that nagging sensation and just go on a shopping spree for your loved ones. This may be my personal wishlist but I’ll just pretend these are the best tech Christmas gifts you can get.
So let’s go, here are my top 6 tech gifts:
1. Nintendo Switch
As an Avid gamer, the Nintendo switch is on top of my wish list. It’s been almost a year since its release date but I still lack a Switch. I own all Nintendo consoles since the original 8-bit and they are still working. To be honest, I probably don’t have time to play and would only use it to play Zelda and Minecraft.
2. Runners watch Garmin Fenix 5
I’ve been eyeballing the Garmin Fenix 5 grey edition for quite some time now. I’m perfectly happy with my Tomtom multisports but damn this watch just looks so sexy. I probably will spend more time analyzing the data than actually run a few miles which sounds a bit contradictory now that I think about it. Anyway, this is the watch is way over my budget and there are probably better choices out there, but I just need it, for science!
3. iPhone X
If there’s one thing I consider over the top it’s the iPhone X, and I would love to have one. Do I need one? Absolutely not. I’m still perfectly happy with my iPhone SE and I would be scared of being robbed when answering a phone call. Nonetheless, this is the ultimate Phone to gift someone if you have a crazy budget.
4. The Asus ROG Zephyrus GX501 gaming laptop
Oh boy, this is a beast. She’s less than an inch thick but just plain awesome. Battery life is horrible, but to be expected if you look at the crazy specifications this badass has. Comparable to a gaming PC and considered to be a gaming laptop from outer space. Shut up and take my money… no wait I could also buy a second-hand car.
5. Xbox one X – two X’s double the fun
This is currently the worlds most powerful gaming console you can get. The only downside is that I need to buy a 4k TV. I hardly watch TV so that explains why I don’t own one.
6. Lego Boost 17101 – It’s a robot!
You can’t go wrong with Lego, I’m an adult and love to play with Lego with my kids. Not only is it educational, it’s perfect to spend some quality time with your kids and have a fun educational experience. Fully controllable with an iPad and programming the robot is a fun experience.
